The Nokia 7700, the Series 90 prototype phone with the touchscreen and looks of a stormtrooper dropping has been dropped from Nokia’s lineup according to the company. Although Nokia’s EVP Matti Alahuhta maintains that more Series 90 phones will be released in the near future (especially next year), the 7700 was likely too out there for Nokia to put their full weight behind — remember, this was one of the last phones bearing the vestiges of Sidetalkin’.
